In the late 1980s, Steve Jobs started a digital media company called Apple Computer and his vision for the future of computing was the creation of a new type of electronic book.
His company’s first product was called the Apple-Pentium computer, which sold for $1,000 and ran the first commercial programmable electronic device.
Apple Computer went on to become one of the most successful technology companies in the world.
Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak was Apple’s co-creator of the Mac and was later hired by Jobs to design the first computer.
After Jobs died in 2004, Apple went into the computer business, building and selling computers, printers and other gadgets.
Apple still operates today as the largest company in the history of the world and has long been a favorite destination for students and teachers.
